RED Alert 9/4

REMEDIATE:

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) provides documented status to those who were brought to the US as minors and allows them to live and work in the US. This program is in danger and the end of this program would put 800,000 young people and their families at risk of deportation.

Sign up for a local or national text alert, from United We Dream, to stay updated. Text the word DACACall to 877877. You can also visit unitedwedream.org to learn other ways to help and sign this petition to protect DACA: https://action.unitedwedream.org/petitions/keep-the-deferred-action-for-childhood-arrivals-daca-program

DONATE:

Donate to the Sierra Club Lone Star chapter to support community led recovery efforts. The Sierra Club's local chapters and national staff are working hand-in-hand with community groups throughout the Gulf Coast to address the hurricane's environmental effects, support urgent relief efforts, and advocate for a just and equitable distribution of resources. They are working with communities affected across the Gulf Coast and 100% of donations will go towards these efforts.
