The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Ace (HR 38) passed in the House this past week by a 33 vote margin. This law forces states with strong concealed carry laws to honor concealed carry permits from states with weaker laws.

The Glenbard North Civics Club and The Coalition for a Better Illinois 6th are co-hosting the IL-6th Congressional District Democratic Primary Candidates Forum to be held at Glenbard North High School on December 12th from 7-9pm. The Forum kicks off the official campaign as it is the first gathering of the challengers (the seat is currently held by Peter Roskam) following the filing of petitions to enter the race. The event is sold out, but overflow seating is available.
