The administration has not yet asked congress for funding to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Call your House Rep and Senators to ask them to quickly pass disaster relief for those affected by Hurricane Maria. Request that prior to the Senate and House recesses on 10/9 and 10/16, both chambers should act to provide a disaster relief package that gives adequate funding to respond to immediate needs, like food and water, as well as longer term needs like the years of rebuilding that will be required.
